Nuclear Security Summit negotiators meet in Thailand

Negotiators from the countries and organisations that will participate in the 2014 Nuclear Security Summit (NSS) are meeting this week in Thailand for what is likely to be the final preparatory meeting ahead of the Summit in March. The delegates are in Pattaya from 13 to 15 January to negotiate the final text of the declaration to be adopted at the Summit in The Hague.  This declaration concerns securing nuclear material, with a view to keeping it out of terrorists’ hands.
