13 Member States in Asia Pacific sign the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons

13 States from the Asia Pacific region sign the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons as it opened for signature on 20 September 2017. The signatory states in the region are: the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, the Republic of Fiji, the Republic of Indonesia, the Republic of Kiribati, Malaysia, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, New Zealand, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Philippines, the Independent State of Samoa, the Kingdom of Thailand, Tuvalu, the Republic of Vanuatu.
